about me

I’m a multimedia journalist passionate about producing engaging, character-driven stories that promote accountability, foster compassion and cultivate connection.

I’m currently based in Tallahassee, FL where I cover state government and education for The Associated Press.

Previously, I worked at WLRN Public Media in Miami, Iowa Public Radio and WFSU Public Media, where I wrote about education, politics, government, criminal justice, health and the environment.

I’ve won multiple awards for my political reporting, feature writing and sound editing. My reporting has been published by The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor and The Center for Public Integrity and has appeared on the BBC, NPR’s “Morning Edition” and “The NPR Politics Podcast”.

Like a good Floridian, I have a love for the weird and the wild and I make an excellent Key lime pie.
